Description
The IOC16T (200-565-000-013) is an Input/Output Card used in Vibro-Meter’s VM600 machinery protection and condition monitoring systems. It acts as an
interface between field sensors (vibration, tachometer, process, thermocouple etc.) and the monitoring/processing module (CMC16).

Signal Interface for CMC / MPC Cards:The IOC16T serves as the interface card connecting transducers, sensors, and signal conditioners to the VM600 system’s core processing/protection card (such as CMC 16 or MPC4).
Flexible Signal Routing:The IOC16T has options for how signals are routed: via external screw terminals, or via “Raw Bus” / “Tacho Bus” on the VM600 backplane, which can reduce wiring if signals are already routed on the backplane.
Signal Conditioning:Conditioning includes pulse shaping for tachometer inputs, level adjustment, selection of AC or DC coupling depending on the input, etc.

Machinery protection: monitoring vibration, speed / phase, displacement signals to detect abnormal conditions in turbines, compressors, pumps etc.
Condition monitoring: tracking dynamic and quasi-static signals, temperature, etc., to plan
maintenance before failures.
Predictive maintenance programs: enabling trending, alarm levels, and diagnostics.
Use in heavy-duty industrial environments: power generation, oil & gas, petrochemicals, large rotating machines etc.
Integration with control / information systems: via RS-485 or backplane / CPU modules, often feeding
into higher-level monitoring software.
