1. Q: What fuse rating should I use?
A: Use 5 × 20 mm fuses rated ≤ 2 A per output. Aggregate fuse current must not exceed 12 A for the module .
2. Q: Can I mix 24 VDC and 120 VAC loads?
A: Yes. The 16 isolated groups allow different voltage types across outputs, up to 132 V AC/DC .
3. Q: How do I detect blown fuses?
A: This model does not include blown-fuse LEDs. You must manually inspect or use external monitoring tools .
4. Q: Which PLC modules are compatible?
A: It connects via 1492 pre-wired cables to ControlLogix 1756, SLC-5/PLC-5 1771 I/O modules, and high-speed counter PLC modules .
5. Q: What about inductive loads?
A: Surge suppression is mandatory. A UL‑rated device rated for ≥ 2.5 kV is recommended
